Description of architects. A couple of architects DT Studio, during one of his bike rides, went through a closed condominium in Sao Paulo and decided to take a look. The apartment was unpretentious, consisted of seven houses with their original facades of the 60 had heard that none had been offered for sale for the past 18 years, but at that time, one was for sale. The couple immediately began to dream and make plans. It was all I ever wanted: a lovely house of 100sqm, with a side corridor that could be transformed into a garden, a small room in the backyard that could be set up as a guest bedroom / office, spacious rooms and an efficient circulation. The next day, they called the seller and then closed the deal.

The major source of inspiration for the project was that the house had remained close to its original state. There was much in your hands define the concept: the general characteristics of the house would be maintained and would emphasize, therefore, create a modern new identity of the residence. The first decision was to remove the wall separating the kitchen from the living room and dining room, thus creating a large multipurpose room. To do this, it was necessary structural reinforcement and a new steel beam would be apparent.

The room in the backyard has been completely overhauled to accommodate the service area and an office with a private bathroom, which can be invested in a guest suite. A framework of three leaves, two glass and one planned open spaces for garden. The highlight here are the charming three-color hydraulic tiles in the outdoors and also inside the house in the backyard.

The kitchen vitro resulted in two sliding doors and the room received a wooden floor with a new format and pagination. From the patio you can see the large space that includes kitchen, dining and living room.

Special attention to the multipurpose room was provided: the color palette of blues and grays equilibrated with the warm tones of the wood flooring and Pequiá brick wall. In the kitchen, techno cement cabinets contrasts with red and white color. The top is Caesarstone Osprey. As for lighting, the original trim was "identical" to the kitchen, creating an even distribution of light. Glass chandeliers, pendant Foscarini Chouchin on the table and a screen Parentesi proposed for localized lighting. A lower window near the kitchen floor allows a view of the garden and maintains privacy.

Wooden windows of the rooms and the iron bars of the windows and railings maintained. The decor took into account the desire of joyful, functional and comfortable space and personal taste of the owners and architects dark antique furniture, wooden inherited and of sentimental value, mixed with contemporary pieces in shiny clean wood.

The rooms had their original parquet floor restored Peroba Rosa and doors painted in blue. The bathroom upstairs has been completely redesigned to create a better use of space. Emphasis is placed on hydraulic tiles with a page of "herringbone" in contrast to the total white.
